Power Language

Power language is how we control our lives and move forward into the future with courage and grace.

Victim language, or language of fear, allows life to control us and this is how we stay stuck instead of living the life of our dreams.

I work with people who let work dictate their schedule instead of controlling their own schedule. People that allow the schedule to control them are scattered, easily distracted, have loads of anxiety, feel fear, and lack work/life balance. Their life is not their own. They tend to let work monopolize their schedule.

People who are in control of their schedule block out time for their projects, turn off distractions, learn how to focus, and have amazing work/life balance. They thrive instead of just survive. People that are in control of their schedule or life, most often times use Power Language. They are the drivers not life driving them.

Look at the language below and be honest with yourself with the language you are using. If you are saying to yourself, “I can’t” then you are allowing life to control you rather than “I won’t” which puts you in the driver’s seat.

What kind of life do you want to live?

A life that controls you? Or a life you control?
